The Douglas County Chamber’s Community Exploration Tours are designed to broaden regional perspective, strengthen collaboration, and spark fresh ideas for Douglas County’s future.

 

The Douglas County Chamber's Community Exploration Tours will provide a focused one-day visit for 40-50 business professionals to explore the growth engines of neighboring cities. Following the successful model of our Strategic Leadership Visits, our upcoming tours will visit communities such as Woodstock, Rome, and Canton. Attendees will go behind the scenes of innovative developments, reimagined local policies and ordinances, and hear directly from the leaders driving their progress, all with the goal of sparking new ideas and fostering strategic growth within Douglasville.

The Community Exploration Tours are designed for a focused group of 40–50 business and community leaders who are eager to learn, connect, and bring fresh ideas back to Douglas County. To ensure a well-rounded experience and meaningful discussions, the Chamber aims to include a balanced mix of business professionals, public-sector representatives, and community partners. While space is limited to maintain the quality of the tour experience, participation is open to those who share an interest in regional growth, innovation, and collaborative leadership. Invitations are confirmed on a first-come basis until capacity is reached.

Sponsorship Opportunities

For all sponsorships, the Chamber will:  

  • Secure a keynote speakers or design a program tailored to your audience to help draw attendees. 
  • Promote your event and feature your branding in Chamber marketing and event materials. Sponsors investing over $1,500 receive logo placement; others are recognized by name. 
  • Send e-invites to members and investors and manage online registration for all attendees. 
  • Provide staff to welcome guests and manage on-site registration. 
  • Recognize and thank your business with a verbal acknowledgment during the event remarks.
