Our Mission

The mission of the Douglas County Chamber is to promote an inclusive business community that collaboratively drives economic growth, sustainability, and innovation for a lasting, positive impact in the Douglas region.

Our vision is to be a recognized leader in attracting, growing, and advocating for businesses.

Together, we're bringing visions to life, exploring possibilities, advocating for our members, and expanding opportunities in step with today’s world, and tomorrow’s markets and industries –all while providing the education, thought leadership, and resources you, our valued investors, need to continue to achieve and succeed.

How We Operate

The Douglas County Chamber is a non-profit 501(c)(6) organization governed by an 18-member volunteer Board of Directors made up of Chamber members. We have several active committees to continue to be a mission-driven organization that consistently meets the needs of our businesses and the implementation of our strategic plan.

We are not a department of the city, county or state government, political body, civic club, or professional society. We have no relation to the Georgia Chamber or the US Chamber of Commerce.
