High school juniors are invited to learn about our community, grow their capacity as a leader, and make new friends in the DCC Youth Leadership Program.

It was a real pleasure to experience the PFAD at Chestnut Log Middle School as the guest of Principal Dr. Nicole Hayes. I was very impressed by the respect and mannerisms displayed by all of the students and also the professionalism and commitment exhibited by the school staff. This is a direct result of Dr. Hayes’ approach of leadership by respect and not intimidation style as stated by Staff member Ms. Harper, which was quite evident throughout our walk-about.
