Douglas County Chamber Brings Free AI Training to Small Businesses in Douglas County

 

Learn practical AI skills to grow your business and strengthen local economies 

Douglasville, GA (May 21, 2026) The Douglas County Chamber is partnering with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation to bring Small Business B(AI)sics to Douglas County. Small Business B(AI)sics is a national initiative from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, with support from Google, that aims to equip small businesses with practical AI skills.  

AI adoption among small businesses has more than doubled since 2023. Entrepreneurs using AI report saving time, improving customer service, and unlocking new growth opportunities. Small Business B(AI)sics aims to train 40,000 U.S. entrepreneurs over the next three years through a mix of in-person workshops and digital learning resources. 

“The Douglas County Chamber is excited to bring this opportunity to our local business community,” said Tamika Farr, Small Business & Entrepreneurship Manager for the Douglas County Chamber. “AI is rapidly changing the way businesses operate, and we want to ensure our entrepreneurs and small business owners have access to practical tools and training that can help them grow, compete, and work more efficiently.”

The first in-person training session will take place on June 9, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Community Room at West Georgia Technical College, 4600 Timber Ridge Drive, Douglasville, GA 30135. Space is limited, and registration is required.
