Douglas County Chamber Announces New Board Leadership Through 2028
The Douglas County Chamber (DCC) is pleased to announce new executive board leadership, D.A. Wilson, Founder and Principal Attorney of The Wilson Firm will serve as 2026 Chair Elect-Elect.
Wilson joined the DCC Board of Directors in 2024. He has played a key role in the Small Business Council and Finance Committee, as an active Leadership Douglas Alumni (Class of 2021) and has been a dedicated member, significantly contributing to the success of the Chamber initiatives, events, and programs.
In addition to Wilson, the following individuals will serve on the Chamber Board’s Executive Committee for 2026: Alicia Doherty from the American Red Cross as Board Chair; Dr. Julie Post from West Georgia Technical College as Chair Elect; Heath King with Wellstar Douglas Medical Center as Treasurer; and Trevor Quander with Georgia Power Company as Immediate Past Chair.
“We are excited to welcome our incoming Board of Directors and deeply grateful to those whose terms have concluded,” said Chamber President & CEO Sara Ray. “Their collective leadership, vision, and commitment to our community will continue to strengthen the Chamber’s mission to foster growth, connection, and prosperity throughout Douglas County.”
New Board leadership will be recognized at the DCC Annual Meeting on December 9th which will include passing of the gavel to install Doherty as Chairwoman as well as recognizing The new terms of leadership will be effective January 1st, 2026.
