Council for Quality Growth Announces Annual State of Douglas County Address Featuring Chairman Phil Miller on April 17th
The Council for Quality Growth is partnering with the Douglas County Chamber to present the seventh annual State of Douglas County Address on Wednesday, April 17th from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Douglasville Conference Center.
Douglas County Commission Chairman Phil Miller is the featured keynote for this event and will leverage his extensive experience as a law enforcement veteran and four-term Sheriff to offer a comprehensive exploration of Douglas County’s current landscape and future trajectory.
Miller will provide updates on Douglas County’s economic development successes, workforce, public safety, transit, and other updates on the factors that contribute to making the county a valuable place to live, work, and conduct business for the county’s estimated 150,000 residents, as well as visitors.

The State of the County Series of events is presented by the Council in partnership with local counties and municipalities, including Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, and Rockdale, and serve as the annual remarks by each county’s leadership.
