Emerging Leader Awards

Douglas County Young Professionals (DCYP) is proud to introduce the Emerging Leader Awards.

These awards recognize adults of the age 21-40 who excel professionally as well as serve the Douglas Community. These individuals will be eligible for the Young Professional of the Year Award given in 2026.

• Advocacy and Leadership Award - Lauren Burden with the District Attorney’s Office!
• Rising Star Award - Kamali Hansen, with Douglasville-Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority
