The Farmer’s Table Celebrates New Renovations

DSC_0025The Farmer’s Table owners, Susan and Rick Henderson, staff, friends, and Chamber representatives celebrated the recent renovation of The Farmer’s Table by holding a DC Chamber Ribbon Cutting on April 20th. The Farmer’s Table is open Monday through Saturday 8am to 8pm, and is located at 3670 Highway 5, in Douglasville.
The Farmer’s Table is a produce market that provides locally grown produce when available, and also specializes in southern vegetables and fruits. Most of the featured shelf products such as jams, jellies, dressings, breads, ciders are made right here in Georgia. They also carry seasonal items such as hanging baskets in the spring, pumpkins and hay bales in the fall, and Christmas trees in the winter.

Douglas County Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, Tom Worthan, congratulated Susan and Rick on their new renovation, “I know this has been a work in progress and the community of Douglas County is thrilled to have access to all of these delicious locally grown products.”

Douglas County Chamber President and CEO, Kali Boatright, also commented on the new renovation, “we appreciate your Chamber membership, and we are excited about the expansion of your business, we look forward to continuing to support The Farmer’s Table for many years to come.”
