We are proud to partner with the Douglas County Economic Development Authority to encourage growth and economic development in Douglas County.

Why Douglas?

Located just 20 miles due west of downtown Atlanta and 20 miles northwest of the world’s busiest airport, Douglas County, Georgia offers companies and residents easy access to big-city amenities in a diverse, affordable and safe small-town environment.

Affordable real estate, lower taxes, proximity to Atlanta and the airport, robust infrastructure and Georgia’s business-friendly climate have drawn a mix of data centers, logistics operations, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution facilities to the county. Big names in business that now call Douglas County home include Google, Amazon, Medline Industries, American Red Cross and Silver Line, a division of Andersen Windows.

Still a best-kept secret, Douglas County offers homebuyers more “bang for the buck” with beautiful homes in diverse neighborhoods with more square footage, amenities and value than other Atlanta suburbs. Top-notch public and charter schools boast programs ranging from the highly academic International Baccalaureate program to a highly regarded STEM curriculum.
