Douglas County Chamber to Host Annual Meeting on December 10th

The Douglas County Chamber is pleased to announce its 2024 Annual Meeting on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 7:30-9:00 a.m. at the Douglasville Conference Center. Sponsored by Greystone Power Corporation, Georgia Power Company, and Wellstar Douglas Hospital, this event will bring together the top players across the Douglas County business community to celebrate the Chamber’s 2024 accomplishments and discuss the strategic plan and initiatives for 2025.
The Annual Meeting will include a presentation from current Douglas County Chamber Board Chair and Douglas County School Superintendent Trent North, who will highlight the organization’s 2024 accomplishments. North will discuss the Chamber’s work to support the Douglas County business community and to promote economic growth in the region. The event will also feature remarks from Trevor Quander, incoming 2025 DCC Board Chair and Georgia Power Area Manager. Quander will share his vision for the Chamber and exciting new initiatives in the coming year. Additionally, the Douglas County Chamber will recognize its outgoing board members, announce the 2025 Ambassadors, and officially “pass the gavel” from Trent North to Trevor Quander as part of this special celebration.

Together, we have worked to foster a vibrant business environment with a focus on the future generations of Douglas County,” said Trent North, 2024 DCC Board Chair and Superintendent of Douglas County Schools. “Throughout the years, the Chamber has laid a strong foundation for growth and prosperity. In the years ahead, our work will continue to drive Douglas County forward. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have contributed to building a more prosperous Douglas, and I am excited to witness how we will shape a bright future for Douglas County residents.”
