Douglasville, GA (December 14, 2023) The Douglas County Chamber (DCC) is delighted to announce its Small Business Success Series, a dynamic initiative aimed at empowering local entrepreneurs and fostering economic growth in the community.

As part of ongoing efforts to support small businesses, the Chamber has curated a comprehensive series of workshops, seminars, and engagement opportunities designed to provide valuable insights, resources, and connections to local businesses. The Small Business Success Series will cover a range of topics, including leadership and influence, business ethics, customer service, launching and improving your business with customer-focused marketing, and many more.

The series kicked off in October 2023, setting the tone for an engaging and collaborative learning experience. The Chamber encourages local entrepreneurs, business owners, staff, and community members to actively participate in this series to strengthen the local business landscape. In addition to launching several new programs and opportunities for businesses to grow and thrive, the Chamber has hired a Director of Small Business & Entrepreneurship, LaWanna Ross, to maintain a full-time, 100% focus on supporting businesses in Douglas.

“I am thrilled and humbled to be chosen as the champion for local businesses in the Douglas Region and the Douglas County Chamber. Our team is excited to launch the Small Business Success series, one of several programs and initiatives that benefit our local businesses.

“We remain dedicated to providing our local businesses with exceptional solutions and a commitment to excellence”, said LaWanna Ross.

“We believe that the success of our local businesses is crucial for the economic vitality of Douglas County,” said Chamber President & CEO Sara Ray. “Through the Small Business Success Series, we aim to provide entrepreneurs with the tools and knowledge they need to navigate challenges, seize opportunities, and contribute to the growth of our community. “The Chamber’s commitment to supporting local entrepreneurs goes beyond traditional networking. Through this initiative, the Douglas County Chamber aims to create a thriving environment for small businesses, driving economic growth and contributing to the overall prosperity of the community.
