Douglas County Chamber Announces Board of Director Leadership Transition and Appointments
On behalf of the Douglas County Chamber (DCC), Board Chair Trent North announced updates to the Chamber Board of Directors including transition and appointments. The updates and appointments were announced to the Board of Directors and publicly on July 2nd. Chair Elect Dr. Brendan Kelly, resigned from his position on the Douglas County Chamber Board of Directors effective July 2nd. Dr. Kelly, who has been a pivotal member of the DCC Board, is transitioning to a new role at Arkansas State University later this summer. As 2024 Board Chair, and in accordance with organizational bylaws, Mr. North has appointed two highly qualified individuals to fill new leadership roles.
Current Chair Elect-Elect, Trevor Quander with Georgia Power will transition to Chair-Elect effective immediately to serve as DCC Board Chair in 2025. Additionally, Alicia Doherty with American Red Cross will assume the role as Chair-Elect Elect and will serve as Board Chair in 2026.
