Chairmans Club Spotlight: Pete Meadows with AT&T

Now that we are winding down (very slowly!!) 2011, what better way than highlighting our Chairman’s Club the last few months?  Each Friday (well hopefully!) we will highlight one of our Chairman’s Club members!! Today, we would like you to get to know Mr. Pete Meadows with AT&T.

Pete is the Regional Director of External Affairs representing AT&T for the following counties:  Carrollton, Clayton, Coweta, Douglas, Fayette, South Fulton, Heard, and Henry County. Pete has been an employee with AT&T for more than 11 years. He initially started his career with Bellsouth as an E-Business Sales Specialist promoting advance Internet services and products. Prior to coming to AT&T, Pete was a Technical Consultant for ITC Deltacom.

Pete has held numerous leadership roles including past chair for the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce in 2009 and past chair of the Clayton County Chamber of Commerce in 2004. . He serves on Fulton County School System Superintendent’s Community Advisory Board. He is a past board member of Another Way Out Inc, United Way South Metro Advisory Board, West Georgia Youth and Science Center, Southern Regional Hospital Foundation Board and South Metro Red Cross Advisory Board. Some of his other affiliations include Clayton County Rotary Club, Who’s Who in Black Atlanta, Regional Leadership Institute, Leadership Fayette, Leadership Atlanta and Leadership Georgia. In 2009, Pete was selected as a member of the Men of Influence by the Atlanta Business League.

Pete is a native of Atlanta where he received his degree in Business and Information Analysis from Morehouse College. He is married to Lynne P. Meadows (Health Services Coordinator for Fulton County School System). They are the proud parents of two sons Trey (16) and Matthew (11). He is an avid golfer and little league baseball coach.
