Chairman Worthan Returns to the Courthouse After Surgery

Douglas County Commission Chairman Tom Worthan returned to the Courthouse on Friday, June 28th, for the first time since his surgery to relieve an aneurysm. He spent 2 hours at the Courthouse Friday and will be working part-time over the next couple of weeks as he regains his strength. The surgery was successful and Chairman Worthan anticipates a full recovery.

Chairman Worthan, his wife Linda (shown in photo), and his family thank the citizens of Douglas County for their good wishes, prayers, phone calls, cards, and other expressions of support during the surgery and recovery time.
