| The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Readiness for Resiliency Program (R4R) helps small businesses put plans in place to prepare for disaster and also provides immediate emergency funding when necessary. Businesses are asked to complete a four-step process to be eligible for quick-turn relief funding of $5,000 after a state emergency order or state disaster declaration is made in their region.
The 2025 Credibly Small Business Award offers cash prizes of up to $30,000 to help small businesses accelerate their growth. Winners will be selected through a randomized raffle after submitting a short online application, with second- and third-place prizes of $20,000 and $10,000. The application deadline is September 30.
The Cornerstone Grant by Square awards four small businesses $10,000 each, along with a year of mentorship from financial and business experts. Recipients also benefit from increased exposure through Square’s newsletters and platforms, which reach over a million people. Applications are due by September 30.
The Walmart Spark Good Local Grants program, provided by Walmart and Sam’s Club, offers grants ranging from $250 to $5,000 for organizations that address the unique needs of local communities. All organizations must be Deed verified and have a Spark Good account to apply. Grant applications are accepted quarterly, with the current round open through October 15.
The 2026 Forrest E. Mars, Jr. Chocolate History Grant provides a minimum of $50,000 to support projects that explore chocolate’s role in global history, culture, and innovation. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, individual researchers, and K-12 educators in the U.S. who can demonstrate the educational impact of their proposals. Applications are due by October 26.
The Intuit QuickBooks and Mailchimp Small Business Hero Program awards $20,000 grants to U.S. small businesses with owners aged 18 or older that show courage, perseverance, and integrity. Three winners are chosen each quarter and receive both funding and resources to help grow their business. The current round is open through November 14.
