Douglas County Young Professionals Announce the 2024 Emerging Leader Honorees

Douglasville, GA (December 11, 2024)– Douglas County Young Professionals (DCYP), a program of the Douglas County Chamber Foundation, is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2024 Emerging Leader Awards. The award ceremony was held at the Douglasville Conference Center during the Douglas County Chamber’s Annual Meeting on Tuesday, December 10th.
DCYP focuses on their mission to attract emerging professionals to engage, develop and serve in Douglas County. Their events and offerings are designed to support professionals ages 21-40 through professional development training, philanthropic opportunities, networking events, to foster an environment for their generation.

2024 Emerging Leader Honorees
Rising Star Award – Victoria Hicks
The Rising Star Award is presented to a recipient who is on the rise in Douglas County. This individual is an emerging professional in their industry and is making significant strides in their career.
This year’s honoree, Victoria Hicks is the Team Lead for Douglas County Superior Court Judge Deah Warren’s Courtroom. Hicks is known for leading with compassion and managing her own caseload. She is dedicated to serving her community and plays an active role in the legal field, including leadership roles within the Young Lawyers Division and the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys. In addition to her outstanding leadership within her office and through the organizations she is involved with, her true passion is the victims she supports, providing advocacy for those who have suffered abuse or loss.
Advocacy and Leadership Award – Jasmine Moore
The Advocacy and Leadership Award recognizes a young professional with a powerful voice for others. They are consistently promoting a call to action in their Douglas to inspire positive change.
This year’s honoree, Jasmine Moore is the Founder and CEO of Grateful Hands, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to advancing disability inclusion and social equity. Through her passion to advocate the disabled community, she has raised awareness and expanded programs for disabled individuals in Douglas. Additionally, she has driven changes in policy that foster greater accessibility, established strong partnerships with local businesses, government agencies, and nonprofits to create lasting impact and sustainable change. Her commitment to advocacy and systemic change has made her a transformative leader not only in Douglas but has been recognized by across the State of Georgia for, creating opportunities for people with disabilities and inspiring others to contribute to a more inclusive society.
Community Service Excellence Award– Cristhtian Molina
The Community Service Excellence Award recognizes a young professional with a passion for improving the quality of life in Douglas County through their service and volunteerism.
This year’s recipient, Cristhtian Molina is a dynamic Branding and Design Manager known for their collaborative leadership and commitment to community engagement through his role at the City of Douglasville. Leading a creative team with a focus on “design with purpose,” Cristhtian ensures every project connects meaningfully with its audience. He is dedicated to improving his community, exemplified by involvement with a Dose of Douglasville, Douglasville Citizens’ Academy. These programs have deepened Cristhtian’s understanding of local government and provided training to guide neighbors through complex processes. Cristhtian embodies an individual who fosters trust, bridges gaps, and drives positive change within the community.
Entrepreneurial Spirit Award – Tiffany Jones
The Entrepreneurial Spirit Award recognizes a young professional who has demonstrated exceptional entrepreneurship through starting a business, driving innovation, or pursuing unique ventures.
This year’s honoree, Tiffany Jones is a dedicated leader focused on collaboration, accountability, and empowering her team. She promotes integrity, clear communication, and strategic results, while fostering a supportive and innovative environment. She connects residents and businesses in Douglas to resources for growth and development. Her commitment to mentorship and community involvement ensures a lasting positive impact on the future of Douglas.
