Douglas County Chamber Announces New Board Leadership Through 2027

The Douglas County Chamber (DCC) is pleased to announce new executive board leadership, Dr. Julie Post, President of West Georgia Technical College will serve as 2025 Chair Elect-Elect.
Post joined the DCC Board of Directors in 2022. She has played a key role in the Government Affairs Council and advocacy efforts of the Chamber and has been a dedicated member, significantly contributing to the success of the Chamber initiatives, events, and programs.
In addition to Post, the following individuals will serve on the Chamber Board’s Executive Committee for 2025: Trevor Quander from Georgia Power Company as Board Chair; Alicia Doherty from the American Red Cross as Chair Elect; Shandron Forte with POSolutions, Inc. as Treasurer; and Trent North with Douglas County Schools as Immediate Past Chair.

“We are excited to add an exceptional leader our Board,” said Chamber President & CEO Sara Ray. “Their diverse backgrounds and strong commitment to enhancing our community will be instrumental in our efforts to promote economic development and empower local businesses.”
New Board leadership will be recognized at the DCC Annual Meeting on December 10th which will include passing of the gavel to install Quander as Chairman as well as recognizing outgoing Board Member Beverly Tate with Gordon Food Services. The new terms of leadership will be effective January 1st, 2025,
