Carley Lawson Promoted to Douglas County Chamber Vice President
Douglas County Chamber President & CEO, Sara Ray is pleased to announce that Carley Lawson has been promoted to serve as the Chamber’s new Vice President. Lawson began work in her new position on August 5.
Beginning her career at the Douglas County Chamber in 2019, Lawson has served in previous roles including Events Manager, Leadership Programs Coordinator, and most recently Senior Director of Investor Engagement. Lawson brings a progressive and solution-oriented mindset to her role as Vice President of the Douglas County Chamber, leveraging a decade of chamber experience. She recently completed the Institute for Organization Management, the professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, equipping her with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the dynamic association and chamber industries.
In her new role, Lawson administers the Douglas County Chamber Foundation, overseeing key programs such as Leadership Douglas, Youth Leadership Douglas, and Douglas County Young Professionals. She plays a pivotal part in fostering leadership development and community engagement among the community. Additionally, Carley leads member experience, investor engagement, networking and signature events for the organization.
