Council for Quality Growth and Douglas County Chamber Announce Annual State of Douglas County Address on April 19
DOUGLASVILLE – (March 27, 2023) The Council for Quality Growth is partnering with the Douglas County, Elevate Douglas Economic Partnership and the Douglas County Chamber to present the sixth annual State of Douglas County Address on Wednesday, April 19th from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Douglasville Conference Center.
“We are delighted to partner for the sixth year to present the region with the State of Douglas County Address,” said Council for Quality Growth President and CEO Michael Paris. “We recognize tremendous opportunity as Douglas County continues to engage in sustainable growth and development to support a quality way of living and doing business in the area.”
Douglas County Commission Chair Dr. Romona Jackson-Jones and Elevate Douglas President, Chris Pumphrey are the featured keynotes, and will provide updates on Douglas County’s economic development successes, workforce, public safety, transit, and other updates on the factors that contribute to making the county a valuable place to live, work, and conduct business for the county’s estimated 150,000 residents, as well as visitors.

We are excited to host the Council for Quality Growth, our regional and local partners on April 19th as we showcase Douglas County, a place where partnerships and businesses thrive!”
The State of the County Series of events is presented by the Council in partnership with local counties and municipalities, including Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, and Rockdale, and serve as the annual remarks by each county’s leadership.
