Cumberland Community Church Opens New Location

Cumberland Community Church Douglasville Campus lead pastor, Matt McGue, staff and Chamber representatives celebrated their new location by holding a DC Chamber Ribbon Cutting on November 14^th.  The mission of Cumberland Community Church is to love, feed, connect and motivate people through worship, prayer, and service.  They are located at 6405 Fairburn Road, Suite 100 in Douglasville.

Cumberland Community Church began in 2012 in Smyrna, Georgia.  Their desire is to be a cooperative catalyst of change, serving and loving unselfishly to make the community a better place for all people. Cumberland Community Church opened their Douglasville location in October 2018 at Heirway Christian Academy. They are an intentionally multi-ethnic, gospel-centered, community-engaging, Jesus exalting church.

Cumberland Community Church places a high value on serving the community. One of their biggest outreach programs is their “Peace Truck”. They use the re-engineered food truck to bring peace, hope and love to children in distressed communities, apartment complexes and trailer parks.  The Peace Truck can be found at local events and community festivals to provide drinks or snacks to the community.
