DQ Grill & Chill Celebrates Renovations

DQ Grill & Chill owner, Mahmedamik Momin, staff, friends and Chamber representatives celebrated their recent renovation by holding a DC Chamber Ribbon Cutting on December 20^th. DQ Grill and Chill is a chain of soft serve ice cream and fast-food restaurants owned by International Dairy Queen, Inc., a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway. They are located at 6126 Fairburn Road Douglasville.

The first DQ Grill & Chill restaurant was located in Joliet, Illinois and was operated by Sherb Noble, which opened for business on June 22, 1940. International Dairy Queen, Inc. also owns Orange Julius and Karmelkorn.  The company corporate office is located in Minneapolis. The location on Fairburn Road is one of the oldest stores and has been in operation for 49 years. DQ Grill & Chill franchisees, employees and staff focus on creating positive memories for all who visit the restaurant. Unlike any other quick-service brand, DQ Grill & Chill food and treats has something for fans of all ages, from all around the globe.
