The Douglas County Chamber is pleased to announce the winners of the 2016 Douglas County Chamber Raffle. The raffle drawing was held at the Comcast Business After Hours at The Centre at Arbor Connection on May 26th.
A total of 350 tickets were sold by the DC Chamber Board of Directors. The evening was filled with anticipation and excitement as each ticket was drawn. The winner of the first ticket drawn for the $100 prize was Drew Hook. The $500 prizes for every 50th ticket drawn were awarded to Steve Roberts, Sidney Miller, Omar Daniel, Kara Pearson, LaTika Ziehl, Ed Cahill and Jeff Noles. The final two tickets remained and after negotiating, the last two ticket holders decided to split the $2,000 and $10,000 prizes awarding Christine Stanley, Valerie Howell, and Nancy Webster with 6,000 collectively and Ann Jones-Guider with $6,000.
“The Chamber is very grateful to have an amazing Board of Directors who helps sell the tickets and I personally would like to thank every person who purchased a ticket – we couldn’t be the Chamber we are without the support of all of our members and others in the community who purchased tickets,” commented Chamber President & CEO Kali Boatright.
The Chamber Raffle supports the multiple community services and programs for Chamber Members such as networking events, monthly training seminars, the Buy Local program, and more. The mission of the Douglas County Chamber is to support, promote and attract business for the advancement of our community. The Chamber currently serves nearly 700 member businesses.
