Top Ten Young Professionals of 2016 Applications Now Available

The Top Ten Young Professionals of 2016 is a recognition presented by the DC Chamber’s Young Professionals Connection (YPC). YPC’s purpose is to provide opportunities for young professionals to connect with their peers, connect with their community, and connect with their future. YPC combines personal and professional development through social, community service and professional activities. YPC’s mission is to create an inclusive and collaborative network of resources that empowers talented individuals to achieve their goals for professional growth and success; provide employers with an engaged and competitive workforce; and propels Douglasville/Douglas County forward.

THE CRITERIA
Top Ten Young Professionals of 2016 Nominees must meet each of the following criteria:
• The individual is a young professional who demonstrates excellence, leadership, creativity and initiative in her/his business or profession.
• The individual provides valuable service to improve the quality of life for others in the community.
• The individual must be affiliated with a DC Chamber member business or organization.
• The young professional must be between the ages of 21 and 40 years old as of the submission deadline: Tuesday, March 15, 2016.
• The individual does NOT have to be a member of the Young Professionals Connection (YPC).
**Past Top Ten Young Professional winners may apply if the age requirement is met. However, individuals are not eligible to receive consecutive awards.

• Information submitted should support the award criteria of achievement, leadership and service.
THE PROCESS
Members from the DC Chamber Chairman’s Club consisting of a diverse group of leaders from the community will review all nomination forms and select the Top Ten Young Professionals. The Top Ten Young Professionals of 2016 will be announced in the DC Sentinel with a recognition ceremony in April.
