Tributary Social Club Holds Ribbon Cutting to Promote Upcoming Charity Fundraisers
Members of the Tributary Social Club gathered on March 27th to celebrate the official kick-off of their fundraising campaign to support local high school The D.A.N.N.Y Center is now located at 6453 Spring Street in downtown Douglasville.
In 2007, a group of neighbors got together for a golf outing. They enjoyed it so much, that they decided to make it an annual charity event. For the past eight years the Tributary Social Club has awarded a scholarship to a deserving senior from each of the public high schools in Douglas County, Georgia. Since its inception, the Tributary Social Club has awarded more than $90,000 in scholarships through the Charity Scholarship Golf Tournament and Silent Auction.
The Tributary Social Club (TSC) is a resident group of the Tributary at New Manchester community. It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that exists for social and charitable purposes. Their main objective is to provide fundraising activities that enable them as a group to make charitable donations to the community.
