The Academy and Nutrition Dietetics Proudly Announces Denine Rogers, RDN, LD is a Fellow (FAND)
The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the world’s largest organization of food and nutrition professionals, recently recognized Denine Rogers, RDN, LD as a Fellow. This designation recognizes Denine Rogers, RDN, LD commitment to the field of dietetics and celebrates her professional accomplishments and pursuit of life-long learning. A Fellow signifies that a member has lived up to the Academy’s values of customer focus, integrity, innovation and social responsibility.
Denine Rogers, RDN, LD, FAND is the Founder of HEPSA Living Healthy with an extensive educational and practical background in the healthcare field. Her experience consists of a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Diabetes Nutritional Specialist, Cultural Diversity Consultant, Holistic Chef for Animals, Life and Health Coach, Clinical Dietitian, Master Herbalist, Holistic Health Practitioner, Integrative
Nutritionist Dietitian, Competent Communicator Toastmaster Speaker and
Volunteer Master Gardener. Denine Rogers educational background consists of
a Bachelors Degree from Howard University in Clinical Nutrition. She is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and
a Licensed Dietitian for the State of Georgia. Denine Rogers is a published and
accomplished author and her articles have been published in various
publications. She has been a food and nutritional lifestyle management
consultant for the past 15 years to food service management companies,
hospital, federal government programs, educational institutions, corporations,
small businesses and healthcare facilities. She is continuing her education by
pursuing a Master of Science Degree of Complementary Alternative Medicine
with a specialization of Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy. Ms. Rogers has
been selected as the FACE of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics –
Marketing Campaign (video and pictorial) for 2012-2013, Academy of Nutrition
and Dietetics Foundation – “Be a Hero” – video and article for the Kids Eat Right
Program – 2011 and served as a Kids Eat Right RD. Ms. Rogers finished her roles
as the Chairperson for the African American Committee of Interest Group of the
American Association of Diabetes Educators, Leader of the Georgia Academy
of Nutrition and Dietetics Board for the Diversity Leaders and Mentors, Diversity
Leader and Mentor for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Registered
Dietitian Nutritionist Consultant for Kids Eat Right and Fuel Up to Play 60 program.
She has completed her work as a Nutritional Consultant and Speaker for Abbott
Nutrition on the subject of Malnutrition to Public Policy Makers, Government
Officials and Healthcare Professionals. Denine Rogers is currently the Secretary
and Communication Committee Chair for NOBIDAN, Volunteer Master
Gardener for State of Georgia, Stone Soup Blogger, a Fellow of the Academy of
Nutrition and Dietetics (FAND) and a Nutritional Consultant for Wellpoint.
