16TH ANNUAL FESTIVAL IN THE PARK

On Thursday, July 4, 2013, S.H.A.R.E. House will host the 16th Annual Festival in the Park for. The festival will begin immediately after Douglasville’s 4th of July Parade in Hunter Park. The event will feature food, fun, and entertainment. Barbeque is provided by Williamson Brothers. There will be vendor booths, live Bluegrass music throughout the afternoon, and our very own Douglasville Idol and Talent Contest featuring local competition. As a special treat for children, the Sweetwater Pilot Club will sponsor a Children’s Festival 4 Fun featuring games, puppet shows, face painting, entertainment, bouncies, and prizes.

You and your family will experience a day full of fun that includes:

• Special Patriotic Program, including music
• Barbeque chicken and pulled pork
• A Special Festival 4 Fun Children’s area with face painting, clowns, puppet shows,
games, and carnival.
• Arts & Crafts Vendors
• Snow cones
• Douglasville’s Famous Idol/Talent Contest
• And presenting live music from the Sojourners Blue Grass Band

This is the perfect opportunity to come out and enjoy a family friendly festival and to support your community. During the festival, you will also have the opportunity to purchase a $10 raffle tickets for your chance to win a three-day getaway, a woman’s handbag or an Ipad.

Admission to the festival is FREE; however, the barbeque will be sold for $7 including drink. The event begins at 11:30AM and concludes at 5:00PM. You do not want to miss the fun filled day!
