Sam’s Club Celebrates Renovations

Sam’s Club celebrated its recent re-grand opening with a DC Chamber Ribbon Cutting on June 8.  Sam’s Club is located at 6995 Concourse Parkway in Douglasville. Their location is conveniently off Highway 5 in the Wal-Mart Shopping Center.

The recent renovations were completed and brought a whole new look to the building.  They have added new services for Sam’s Club Members including a Hearing Center and an expansion to their Fresh Meat department to include home meal solutions.  Also, the Digital Photo department has a new look as well as with Produce and Cafe.  To top it all off, the building exterior was given a coat of fresh paint as well as sealed and stripped the parking lot.

Alan Smith, DC Chamber Chairman of the Board of Directors was present at the Ribbon Cutting, “On behalf of the DC Chamber we would like to congratulate you on your recent building improvements and thank you once again for your continued support to the DC Chamber.  We have a great working relationship with your company and hope to continue that for many years to come!”

Commission Chairman Tom Worthan was present at the celebration and offered his remarks in appreciation for their contributions to the community such as the check donation presented to SHARE House.  “It is great to have local support from large companies such as Sam’s Club here in Douglas County.  We are very thankful!”
