Douglasville, GA (November 3, 2026) –
Hightop Behavioral Health celebrated the expansion of its Douglasville office with an open house and official Douglas County Chamber ribbon cutting on October 27th located at 6025 Professional Parkway, Suite 301 in Douglasville. Referral partners, community businesses and medical professionals joined Hightop’s corporate leadership, local staff and providers to recognize the milestone.

Originally founded by Dr. Munjal Shroff in 2018, the practice partnered with Hightop Health and recently doubled the size of its Douglasville office, adding services and providers to expand access to personalized mental healthcare.

“This is an important day and something I’ve thought about for a long, long time, opening a larger psychiatric clinic here in Douglasville,” said Dr. Shroff. “This is a vision we’ve had, and with the help of Hightop, we’ve achieved that. We have the full spectrum of mental health treatment, including non-medication treatment options and more advanced treatments, so the whole county can benefit.”

Hightop Behavioral Health provides specialized, evidence-based mental health care for children ages five and older, adolescents and adults. Its experienced clinicians develop personalized treatment plans designed to address each patient’s unique needs, including complex mental health challenges. With expanded services and a growing team of providers, the practice is focused on helping patients achieve long-term healing and lasting well-being.

Dr. Ray Kotwicki, Medical Director of Hightop Health, attended the celebration and emphasized the importance of seeking treatment for mental health conditions. “You can’t pull yourself up by your bootstraps. You have to get treatment, just like you would if you have cancer or diabetes or heart disease.”

“Access to quality mental healthcare is essential to the overall health and vitality of our community,” said Sara Ray, President and CEO of the Douglas County Chamber. “Hightop Behavioral Health’s investment in expanding its Douglasville location means more resources, more treatment options and greater access to care for our residents. We are proud to celebrate their continued growth and commitment to serving Douglas County.”
