“Principal 4 a Day” is a program in partnership with the Douglas County School System, Brighten Academy, and Partners in Education that dates back to 2011. This program is offered to the business community as an opportunity to interact one-on-one time with a Douglas County School System principal. Participants will learn about the creative programs and offerings available at their respective schools while engaging in different aspects of “a day in the life” of a principal.

Principal 4 a Day is an excellent opportunity to broaden your knowledge about the community as it pertains to our school systems! Prior to participating, I had no conception of how much time, energy, and resources our teachers/administrators put into each and every day for the youth in our community. It was truly fascinating to gain an inside perspective and to see first hand what an outstanding job the Douglas County School System is doing!
