Our Commitment to Your Safety

We have been inspired by the enthusiasm as we return to live events and have been thrilled to safely host more than 2,000 members at our events this summer. As we continue to overcome and emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, we know the best way through the latest developments and to keep our businesses thriving is by working together. Such we are updating our safety guidelines and protocols as follows:

 
Chamber events not at the Conference Center including Ribbon Cuttings
Events held at other public/private facilities may require additional guidelines which will be communicated to registered attendees.
*Please do not attend if you are experiencing any symptom of illness such as cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell.

  • Facial coverings will be required for entry by all staff and attendees, regardless of vaccination status.
  • Enhanced sanitization protocols will be adhered to throughout the space including regularly disinfecting surfaces and hand sanitizer available at multiple locations
  • Food and drinks will be served in a manner that requires little to no touching
  • Attendance will be capped in accordance with space capacity regulations
  • Socially distanced seating will be available

 

Chamber events at the Douglasville Conference Center including monthly luncheons
The Chamber and Conference Center will follow government guidelines to ensure the safety and health of our members:
*Please do not attend if you are experiencing any symptom of illness such as cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell.

  • Facial coverings will be required for entry by all staff and attendees, regardless of vaccination status.
  • Temperature checks will be conducted at entry
  • Socially distanced seating will be available
  • Attendance will be capped in accordance with space capacity regulations
  • Enhanced sanitization protocols will be adhered to throughout the space including regularly disinfecting surfaces and hand sanitizer available at multiple locations
  • Food will be served in a manner that requires no touching
  • Servers wearing masks and gloves will serve drinks at the tables
  • There will be a COVID-19 safety professional to monitor the food area, cleanliness and safety of our members at all times of event

 

Chamber Office Operations
