Yogli Mogli owner, Derrick Canup, his wife Danielle, staff, and Chamber representatives celebrated their grand opening by holding a DC Chamber Ribbon Cutting on March 19th. Yogli Mogli is a self-serve frozen yogurt bar where customers can swirl any combination of yogurt flavors and finish off with an array of their favorite toppings. Another unique feature is that the price is controlled by weight, so you control what you pay too! They are located at 3000 Chapel Hill Road in Douglasville.
Yogli Mogli’s authentic and superior quality yogurt is packed with nutrients and probiotics and is certified by the National Yogurt Association’s Live and Active Culture seal program for meeting (and exceeding) the required criteria for healthy yogurt. The yogurt contains live, active cultures that provide the proper balance needed for good health and digestion. In addition, yogurt is a source of protein, calcium, potassium, and vitamins B12 and riboflavin. The NYA’s certification sets Yogli Mogli apart from typical frozen yogurt shops—many of whom make their yogurt from powder mix with artificial flavors.
Derrick commented, “At Yogli Mogli, we love frozen yogurt enough to run a shop dedicated to bringing you the best of it. As the new owners, we plan to engage with our community and find ways to give back. We are already involved with Partners in Education (PIE) and can’t wait for you to come visit us!”.
Chamber President and CEO, Sara Ray, congratulated Derrick, Danielle, and their staff, “we are thrilled you chose to locate your business in Douglas County, and we look forward to supporting and promoting Yogli Mogli for many years to come.”
