Douglas County Commission Chair Dr. Romona Jackson Jones and members of the Douglas County State Legislative Delegation are joining together for a State Delegation Virtual Town Hall on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. This town hall is intended to provide an update regarding COVID-19 as pertaining to our community.
Members of the State Legislative Delegation include Chair of the Douglas County Delegation Representative Roger Bruce (District 61), Representative William Bodie (District 62), Representative Sharon Beasley-Teague (District 65), Representative Kimberly Alexander (District 66), Representative Micah Gravley (District 67), Representative J. Collins (District 68), Senator Mike Dugan (District 30), and Senator Donzella James (District 35).
Throughout the Virtual Town Hall, Communications and Community Relations Director Rick Martin will be moderating and asking questions posed by citizens. Members of the public wanting to ask questions regarding the COVID-19, coronavirus pandemic are encouraged to email their questions in advance to firstname.lastname@example.org or ask on Facebook during the event.
“I feel it is important for the citizens of Douglas County to hear from members of the State Legislative Delegation to assure them that we are all on the same page,” Chairman Jones said. “We are one Douglas, focused on the health and well-being of our citizens.”
