The Douglas County Chamber’s Winter Ball presented by Wellstar Douglas Hospital was held on Saturday, February 8th at the Douglasville Conference Center. The sold out event welcomed over 400 guests for a grand celebration for the Chamber’s 75th Anniversary. The Winter Ball honored local businesses and individuals for community excellence.
Guests experienced an unforgettable evening. Dinner was served by Proof of the Pudding, guests enjoyed a photo opportunity with Melissa Prosser Photography, participated in the wine pull fundraiser, and bids were placed on over 100 items in the auction sponsored by Hawkinson, Muchnick & Associates. Those in attendance also enjoyed the live music by the Carroll Symphony Orchestra and The Crystal Clear Band sponsored by RA-LIN & Associates, Inc., but the buzz around the community awards was contagious and the highlight of the night. 2020 Chamber Board Chairman, Craig Owens, and Immediate Past Chair Howard B. Ray presented awards to outstanding members of our community including:
