Cabin Fever Roasters Celebrates New Location in Douglasville

DSC_0054Cabin Fever Roasters owner, Rick Aloisi and Gayla Meier, staff, customers, and Chamber representatives celebrated the official grand opening of their new location by holding a DC Chamber Ribbon Cutting on May 21st. They are now located at 7475 Douglas Boulevard in Douglasville.

Cabin Fever provides fresh roasted coffee from various countries around the world that are roasted in-house on a daily basis. In addition to coffee, Cabin Fever proudly serves espresso, cappuccino, lattes, smoothies, protein shakes, teas, and special customer requests. They also serve a giant selection of pastries, desserts, deli sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches and other tasty treats.

In 2015, long time Douglasville residents, Rick and Gayla, had a vision to bring their little corner of downtown to great places, and opened their location on Broad Street in downtown Douglasville. Over the years, there was a constant stream of activities including coffee tastings, performers, musicians, and even canvas painting events. Due to the increase in business and need for a larger space, Rick and Gayla moved the business to the new location on Douglas Boulevard. The new space offered a larger sitting area as well as an outside patio.

Mayor Rochelle Robinson commented, “Congratulations on your new location, we definitely miss having the coffee shop right around the corner in downtown, but we are thrilled you chose to remain in the City of Douglasville.”

Chairman Jackson-Jones also commented, “Thank you for choosing Douglas County to do business; we sincerely hope this new location provides you not only with wonderful memories, but also great business!”

“I am proud to be a frequent customer of Rick’s and I am excited about their new location. Rick and Gayla are faithful residents of the community as they serve customers and citizens in various ways. Thank you for all that you do! “commented, Douglas County Solicitor General Matthew Krull.

Chamber President and CEO, Sara Ray, congratulated Rick, “Your new location is fabulous! We are thrilled you made the decision to keep Cabin Fever Roasters in the community, and we look forward to continuing to support and promote the coffee shop for years to come as you provide customers with the same great taste pf coffee, just in a different place!”
