National Health and Public Safety Association Joins Chamber

Directors Eddie and Denine Rogers of the National Health and Public Safety Association (HEPSA) and celebrated their new Chamber membership with a Ribbon Cutting on May 22. HEPSA is located at 3400 Chapel Hill Road in Douglasville.

National Health and Public Safety Association, LLC (HEPSA) is a private training academy that trains law enforcement and security personnel. HEPSA has been offering consulting and training services to security and law enforcement since 1996. They have been adjudicated to train agencies contracted to U.S. Marshal Service, Atlanta Housing Authority, and the Federal Protective Service. HEPSA has trained more than a 1000 officers over the past 18 years and their main areas of expertise include; strategic planning, management studies (Security and Public Safety), organizational development, and the training, qualifying and certifying in lethal and non-lethal weapons. HEPSA is proud to announce that we have partnered with Chamber Member, Stoddard’s Gun Store and Range as well as the City of Douglasville Public Safety Building to quality training space for their weapons courses.

Eddie Rogers has over 25 years of security and law enforcement experience and in 1991 founded the North Georgia Law Enforcement Training Academy. In 2007 we incorporated as HEPSA. He is a published, author and a nationally recognized speaker in the areas of law enforcement and motivation. Mr. Rogers served as the has Vice President of Membership for Toastmasters International (District 14 – West Georgia), is certified by The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as a Police Classroom Instructor Crisis Negotiator,  licensed by the State of Georgia as a Classroom and Firearms Instructor (G.B.P.D.S.A.) amongst multiple other certifications.

Denine Rogers is the Founder of Living Healthy (the health portion of HEPSA) with an extensive educational and practical background in the healthcare field. Her experience consists of being a Registered and Licensed Dietitian, Diabetes Nutritional Specialist, Cultural Diversity Consultant, Master Herbalist, Holistic Health Practitioner, Competent Communicator Toastmaster, and Health and Life Coach.
