The DC Chamber is proud of our restaurant members and are excited about a marketing promotion that is ALL ABOUT THEM. As restaurateurs it is not always easy for them to attend the monthly networking events to promote and grow their businesses, so this is one way the Chamber would like to send business THEIR way!
Each week the Chamber will feature a member restaurant as the Chamber CHOW of the Week. Readers will be able to find an ad in the Douglas County Sentinel on Wednesday featuring the CHOW of the Week’s special restaurant promotion. It could be a free item, buy one get one deal, or special discount. The coupon will be valid for 30 days after their ad runs in the Sentinel.
For more information on Chamber CHOW of the Week, look in our Chamber Weekly Email on Thursday and be sure to check Wednesday’s Douglas County Sentinel for your coupon!!

“As a Small Business Owner for the past 32 years in Douglas County, I have valued the programs that our Chamber provides for us, one being the Buy Local Campaign. My business depends on customers coming into my Studio to shop, instead of going to one of the other franchises across Atlanta. Last year, the Chamber presented Buy Local Bingo, which brought customers in who had never been in before. This promotional event provided a way for us to introduce Douglas County citizens to the selection of items we offer, hopefully making them a NEW Customer and one for life! We all must take an active part in promoting the importance of shopping locally to Douglas County residents, therefore helping our local economy and our Mom & Pop stores! Our Chamber helps by rolling out new ideas & programs to bring increased awareness of why Shopping Local is a VERY valuable asset to the patron as well as to the business owner!”
“Cactus Car Wash company strongly supports the Buy Local program and that Buy Local Bingo was a great way to get the community involved, We were proud to support this program and had great feedback from our customers!”
